Ajit has more than fifteen years experience in software design, enterprise application management, network software and information technology management. He has a degree in Computer Engineering from Pune University .
Earlier, Ajit worked with Godrej & Boyce's electronics division designing and verifying some of India 's first indigenous engineering workstations that were based on local hardware architecture. Later he spent a long time with the Poonawalla Group of Companies gaining wide-ranging experience in IT management, enterprise application solutions and managing vendor relations. Later Ajit was also part of a start up that innovated a retail banking application for the then-rapidly computerizing Indian banking industry and pioneered alliances to quickly roll out technology solutions to banks.
At Winsoft, Ajit manages the Company infrastructure, oversees the critical Human Resources function and also provides direction to application engineering and the depository product line vertical, as well as provides overall technology management. Ajit is located in Winsoft's Pune ( India ) office.
Nirmal combines fifteen years of experience in software product engineering, Microsoft Windows application architecture, and financial software knowledge ¯ within India and the US . He has a degree in Computer Engineering from Pune University .
Nirmal was one of the first few developers within India to design and implement solutions around the Microsoft Windows 3.1 architecture; later he worked with E-Z Data Inc, US where he was part of the development team that designed and implemented third party products using Microsoft Windows NT's 32 bit (Win32) architecture.
At Winsoft, Nirmal manages key customer accounts in Mumbai ( Bombay ) ¯ India 's financial nerve-center and leads product and enterprise application initiatives for these customers that include leading banking, mutual fund and broking organizations. He also looks after the finances and provides strategic direction to the organization. Nirmal is located in Winsoft's Mumbai ( Bombay , India ) office.
Prasad has more than fifteen years experience in software design and lifecycle management in the areas of Electronic Design Automation, data communication, software re-engineering and enterprise solutions, both in India and the United States . He has a long experience of participating in and setting-up and managing off-shore engagements with Small/Medium enterprises in the US . Prasad has a degree in Computer Engineering from Pune University .
Before founding Winsoft Technologies, he was with E-Z Data Inc., in Pasadena , California , a leading software company developing Enterprise CRM software solutions for the insurance industry.
Earlier, he worked with Texas Instruments in their Design Automation Division in Bangalore , India and Dallas , Texas , where he initially helped provide support TI's design software users in Japan , Europe and North America, and later led the effort to move a number of application development & support initiatives to TI India's offshore operations in Bangalore .
At Winsoft, he manages the offshore model for customers and presently looks after the development of global business for Winsoft, focusing primarily on US mid-market enterprises. In addition, he also looks global alliances, organization-wide process initiatives and corporate aspects of the Company.
Uttiya Dasgupta is a Director on the advisory board of Winsoft Technologies with a mandate to strengthen its presence in the US enterprise software solutions market by offering its expertise in offshore development to mid-market companies. Uttiya has more than twenty years of wide-ranging experience in the software industry both within India and the US, and brings in a long and successful track record in both client and provider ends of offshore outsourcing, software architecture, development, test, support and technical program management.
He is the President of Omnispan, a consulting venture that he founded in 2005. Omnispan is an offshoring advisor that enables clients to retrofit offshore outsourcing with their businesses, using a phased approach known as a Crawl, Walk, Run that was pioneered by Uttiya. From 1985-1997 he worked in Bangalore in the country startup operations of companies like Texas Instruments, IBM Global Services and Samsung Electronics, with wide-ranging experience encompassing software development to overall management. He migrated to the US in 1997 and was the Director of Software Development at IDeaS Inc. responsible for global software operations, till early 2005. He transformed IDeaS from a supplier of legacy products to the provider of Software-as-a-Service, and also established an offshore subsidiary in India .
As Director of Winsoft, Uttiya will lead the efforts to prospect US enterprises, particular mid-market companies and combine his expertise and knowledge of the Crawl, Walk, Run methodology to help them effectively off-shore their software needs to Winsoft's India development centers, minimizing overall risks and maximizing ROI. Uttiya is based in Eagan , Minnesota , US .
Cherian Thomas has been working in the IT industry for the past 18 years. He has wide ranging experience in the full SDLC across various technologies and in offshoring large legacy systems. He has worked in the Banking and Financial Services industry and has domain expertise in the credit card area. Most recently, he was with the IT unit of Barclays and has also worked with Xansa, HSBC and Patni Computers in India and the United States with expertise in handling large teams. He has the experience of managing large complex projects and service lines.
He is PMI and PRINCE2 certified and is also a senior life member of Computer Society of India.
As Director Engineering and Delivery, Cherian will bring in best practices to streamline and make delivery more efficient. He will also be instrumental in putting the necessary processes in place which will aid to scale up the delivery teams to meet future demands.
